about The Embody method

The Embody Method was born from a desire to end the "all or nothing" mentality around food + exercise. The pressure to eat to stay skinny and use exercise as a way to 'burn' off food has been wired into our brains. The hustle culture of pushing our minds and bodies to their limits. The Embody Method will shift your mindset from a place of neglect, punishment and feelings of negativity towards your body to a place of compassion, appreciation and kindness. The Embody Method will teach you not only how to fuel your body for strength and health but to respect and care for the only body you'll ever have in this life. 

meet the founder, Siobhan gough

Having come from a place of disordered eating, compensatory cardio, under fuelling her body and eventual burnout,  Siobhan created the Embody Method based on the 3 pillars she holds close to her heart.  At the centre of this Siobhan credits yoga for helping her connect to her body and kickstart healing her relationship with food, exercise and, most importantly,  herself. 

Siobhan wants women to appreciate their bodies - be strong, confident, powerful and take up space in this world instead of obsessing over shrinking down, no matter what life chapter you're at.

Drawing on her 10 years experience as a police officer you can expect empathy, compassion and kindness with a little tough love thrown in when needed!

350 hours (meditation, yin, vinyasa + variable anatomy)

Level 2 - Gym Instructor
